It’s Your Scene
I talk to many authors who have great difficulty writing a scene. It is like they stumble over the details as they try to describe what they see in their mind. My advice is always the same, walk away from the keyboard and sit back and close your eyes. As you relax and concentrate on the scene you will find that it becomes clearer. Return to the computer only when the details are clear enough to write. If you feel yourself getting tense just remember it’s your scene you can make the grass any color you want it to be! No one will ever know if you forgot a detail or mixed one up just act like you meant for it to be precisely what you wrote and we won’t know the difference!
