Up for sale is a beautiful bronze of a Soldier. It is signed G. Omerth and dated 1914. Inscribed France. Excellent antique condition. Beautifully done. Great addition to any collection. 8.25 inches in height.
Information about the artist: Georges Omerth was active/lived between 1895-1925 in France. Georges Omerth is known for art nouveau and art deco figure, animalier and statuette sculpture. Omerth was very versatile as a sculptor. He production range includes animalier* pieces in the form of dogs and deer, French military subjects, art nouveau* bronzes usually featuring women in hats and bonnets, and art deco* sporting statues produced in the 1920s and 1930s depicting tennis, football and golf players.
