Written Emotions
At a very early age, I discovered the joy of reading. Growing up as an only child I learned to befriend the characters in my favorite books. These wonderful people that brilliant authors created were my playmates. What made this possible was the time and effort the authors took to create multifaceted characters that I could see, hear, and feel. To me my friends were so real I could feel their emotions and that’s what good writing does. Pay attention to the small details in your main characters and readers will be able to connect with them. Remember a good writer will be able to elicit emotions from their readers. Great characters will become a part of your reader’s life.
